Poetry Together Manchester

Local schools are offered this special opportunity to celebrate all things poetry for free.
It will include guest performances from top local poets and school favourites such as Dom Conlon and Louise Fazackerley, as well as a choice of engaging and interactive workshops.
Fully immerse yourselves in poetry and leave feeling inspired.
Last year over 500 people, young and old, came together in Manchester, the City of Literature to immerse themselves in all things poetry.
Poetry Together 2025 Highlights
Places are for one class per school (recommended for year 4 to year 7) and offered on a first come, first served basis. You are also very welcome to invite grandparents or elderly community partners to join you. Whilst there is no charge for the event, schools will need to arrange their own transportation and are asked to bring a packed lunch. The event will be held within school hours.
